December 2025 | We are honored to present CLEARINGS, a site-specific installation that holds a dialogue between the Limmattal forest and Gothic church of Zurich’s Wasserkirche. Artwork is produced Michel Comte & Yuichi Kodai, curated by Christoph Doswald in collaboration with Artflow, this installation reimagines the forest within the heart of the city, tracing the natural cycles of growth, decay, and persistent renewal.

"A clearing is not merely a lifeless tree, but a moment of clarification where light and life converge."
By bringing these organic elements into the church, the project invites visitors to step out of the urban tempo and into a space of meditative stillness. The installation reflects on our shared habitat, asking us to reconsider the fragile boundary between the built environment and the living forest. This intervention functions not merely as an object to be viewed, but as a spatial threshold that recalibrates the visitor's perception of interior and exterior landscapes.
We invite you to experience this dialogue of wood, stone, and light.
