PARASOPHIA TICKET COUNTER

  Parasophia: Kyoto International Festival of Contemporary Culture 2015 is the first large-scale international exhibition of contemporary art held in Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art. SANDWICH was asked to design and build a ticket booth at front of the museum entrance. The booth was inserted into the entrance porch in an angle and is composed of old timber that has been left at the timber yards. The angle of the timber cladding was to enhance the eccentricity of the construction intending to welcome visitors to the art festival
