Our Belief

Our intention is to focus on encouraging and stimulating children's imagination. We believe that the source of creativity comes from the single method of drawing where this one picture can take the imaginative creativity into the realization of story-making, toy-designing, music, films, graphics, art, architecture, and all other disciplines where creativity is key. An inherent potential of a picture holds infinite possibilities in its use by constantly developing and progressing imaginative thinking.

The Design

The gallery displays pictures and books as exhibition items. Pictures from picture books are exhibited within the picture frame to be able to see them in a separate context from those original books. The design of the picture frame will bring attention to focus on each of the unique painted pictures. The museum offers reading pockets where children and parents are able to sit for an intimate reading experience. Some book collections are displayed in special display shelvings that signify the importance of those books.

The museum not only offers a direct approach to picture books but also introduces other forms of children's learning. This is through some of the primitive kinetic devices to let kids understand the development of picture books into animation, as well more recent techniques of creating the motion of images (animation) aiming to value the importance of illustrations as a means of nurturing and developing infinite resources to endless creative thinking.

The exhibition is entirely and solely dedicated to children and their young minds and is part of a wider ideology where children stand at the center of all things.
